HOW TO FLASH Nokia Asha 200

Yes, there comes a time when we'd like to clear off our phone storage because it hangs, freeze or makes restart due to a corrupt software, virus or even a forgotten password.
With that, the only way to bring it back to the normal working condition is by the means of flashing a new firmware.

things you need before you proceed with the flashing.

1.    Download the latest Nokia Asha 200 firmware here>  Nokia Asha 200 firmware
2.    Click to Download the latest Nokia connectivity cable>  Nokia connectivity cable
3.    The latest Infinity best download it here >infinity best

Now first install the Nokia connectivity cable to your computer, this will enable your pc to communicate with your Nokia phone,
 Make sure you have a WinRAR application install on your computer, now extract the infinity best with WinRAR application it will look like, the picture below.

Now open the folder you just extracted it looks like this picture below, and click on the InfinityBest application to open.

And you will get something like this>>.

Now you are going to use only three [3] buttons  out of the six on the infinity best application, which are: 

                                                                 MCU,PPM1,CENT1

Make sure you know the directory folder you save the phone firmware.

Now click on the MCU button

And a dialogue box will open.

 Then look for the directory you save the Asha 200 firmware and click on it to open the file, then click on the file and click ok to go back to the infinity best app.

Second Step 

click the PPM1 button and you will be taken to the PPM1 file directory and click on the file and click ok.

Third Step

Click the CENT1 and click on the file and click ok.

Now you will have something like this below on your screen.

Now click the  flash mode settings box arrow at the bottom of the Infinity software, and you will see a drop down menu,

On the the drop down menu you can select your choice of flash, but as for this, we are giving the phone clean flash, meaning taking the phone back to its original factory settings, so make sure you back up your files before choosing this option because it will erase all your personal data's and files, like: music, videos, pictures, contacts, document etc.

Now select full flash.

And check the dead mode box

Now the flash button should be alighted and showing a red color. 

Now remove the phone battery and connect a USB cord to the phone, then click the flash button and put back the battery to the phone.

 The flashing connection should be open automatically.

If that didn't work, press the power button and the progress bar should start loading, now wait until it says flashing done!

remove the battery from the phone and put it back again, now power on the phone and allow it  to reset the phone.

congrats!!!!!!!!!!! you've just flashed your phone.
